Leisurely September Lake Tour

I had the pleasure of driving a group around the lake on a beautiful summer day last week. After a relaxing cruise we stopped for a leisurely lunch and then back to the dock. It seemed they had a great time too.

“Planned a fun surprise for a mom’s day out on the lake and hired Captain Jeffrey to handle everything for us! It was a great, worry-free experience to see the sights and dine lakefront while Captain Jeffrey took charge of the docking, filling gas and making sure my boat was covered when we returned.  I would highly recommend him for your next work-free day on the water!”

Smile – it’s lake time!

While cruising near Lake Ozark last weekend, we happened upon a couple of happy air cruisers with Paradise Parasail! The smile in the bright yellow parachute was great – and the couple looked like they were having a wonderful time. In fact, they may have been some of the last of the customers for this 2020 season – Paradise Parasail is opening back up in May of 2021.

Captain Jeffrey is still open for lake trips this fall (no parasailing of course!) The fall weather is still warm enough to enjoy a 2 to 3 hour cruise on the lake. Just contact us at hello@captainjeffrey.com and we’ll get you out on the lake!

Hillbilly Fair in Laurie Missouri

Once in a while, it’s time to “get a little bit country” and go to the Hillbilly fair! Complete with country craft, flowers, games, petting zoo, country music and more. This year marks the 51st fair! Lots of good times for sure. The weather Sunday was perfect!

Relax on the lake …

It’s time to grab the husband and the kids and head for the lake! If you’re looking for a few hours of stress free living (and who isn’t these days), book a two to three hour tour on the lake. Captain Jeffrey will pick you up at your hotel, condo or air bnb and take you for a leisurely tour. Want to stop to swim? No problem! Nice Hike at Rocky Top Trail 🙂

Had an early morning hike at the Rocky Top Trail near the Grand Glaize Beach in the Lake of the Ozarks. The hike starts off going through a meadow with plenty of sun … so bring a cap and a water bottle! You’ll also need pretty sturdy hiking shoes as it was a little rocky and slippery at some spots. Once you get past the halfway point, you’ll find a bluff where you can view the boat traffic over Lake Ozark – and there is a lot of traffic! Then it’s a pretty easy hike back to the parking lot. The total trip took about an hour and a half. It’s nice to see the boats from a different view point once in a while!

Then back to the water!

Once the hike was over, it was back to the water. While hiking is a fun diversion, there’s nothing better than cruising on the lake. If you’re looking for a fun cruise on the lake of the Ozarks (hike not necessary 🙂 – just give me a call or shoot me at email hello@captainjeffrey.com.
